Although Hydrographics is our specialty... Custom Paint will always remain a core part of our business.  After all, our hydrographics process depends on our custom painting skills.  Our Custom Painted Wheels include the following steps to ensure a beautiful, yet durable street tested finish.   We completely sand down the rims to the original substrate.  We then fill in all dents & scratches with filler before ultimately sanding smooth before cleaning.  After sanding,  we then use 91% alcohol to remove any final dust & debris from our sanding process.  We then coat each rim with 2 coats of primer before wetsanding for a custom color basecoat that we spray with Iwata HVLP Spray Guns.  We then color sand the custom base color with a fine grit to ensure a showroom smooth finish before applying 1-2 additional coats of basecoat color.  The customized rims are now ready for our extremely durable CLEARSHELL technology consisting of a 3 part mixture that will protect the wheels from chipping & fading from the sun's powerful UV Rays that have been known to kill the color in ordinary paint jobs.
