Safe Buying Guide

HOW TO SPOT FAKES

Before you buy, make sure the NV Box Package you’re purchasing is the real thing. Fake NV products have not yet been seen on the market but we are constantly being proactive to assure that they don't.  We are 100% dedicated to making sure you receive the authentic product you intended to purchase.  If you suspect someone is trying to sell you a fake NV Box or NV Outcast, please notify us immediately and we will address any concerns brought to our attention.

Here are a few tips on how to spot fakes:

If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is. Genuine NV products are made with premium materials and are designed to deliver a one-of-a-kind Video Glass Experience.    If a website is offering low pricing if you buy more than one NV Box, they’re not an authorized Team NV dealer.

Make sure the packaging is professional and you receive the included NV Box, NV Outcast, Mount, Power Adapter, Remote, Micro SD Card, RCA Female Adapter & the Quick Start Manual.   Auction sites offering products with no box or manual, no warranty or documentation, are counterfeit.

Bottom line: if you get an NV Box or NV Outcast in unprofessional packaging, it is fake.

Any cheap, faded, damaged packaging, labeling, strange markings or misspelled words are all sure signs of counterfeits.

ADVICE IF YOU BUY FAKES

If you’re suspicious that your NV Package is not genuine, there are steps you can take to get help.  First, contact us and we will investigate further on our end or put your concerns at ease by confirming your NV Package is the genuine article.  If we deem that your product is not genuine, contact the seller and try to return the Imitation NV Package for a full refund.  (Do not provide any additional personal information to the seller at this time).  Call your credit card company and ask for an immediate “charge back” or “reversal of charges.”  If you bought it through a platform or payment service like eBay or Paypal, report the counterfeit seller to them.  Monitor your credit card for suspicious activity in the future. Many of these bad websites are phishing sites looking to steal personal information.  In the U.S. you can report counterfeit products to the FBI using their Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) reporting form.  If the Imitation NV Package was shipped via U.S. Mail, you can also report the seller/sender to the U.S. Postal Inspectors, using their reporting tool.
